So today I wanted to share a crayon wreath I made for my sons teacher.  I am sure you may have seen them around but I just think they are wonderful back to school gifts, especially if your children are younger.

So I started with all my supplies:
You only need 2 boxes of the 24 pack crayons.  I found mine at Target with the back to school stuff for .25 so the price is AWESOME!!!  Allot of people use different things for their wreath base but I like to use the thicker poster board.

You can get it at the dollar store and its easy to cut with your exacto knife ( not sure if I spelled that right )  But if you make a 12 in circle and then inside that one cut out an 8 inch circle for the center you will have the perfect size wreath for 2 boxes of crayons.

Here is what it looks like after I hot glued all my crayons on the board.  I like to keep the crayola up, I just think it looks cuter, but there is no wrong way.
Then just embellish it however you choose.  I used different paper piecing from SVG Cuts and the collection is called School Days

And here is my finish project
Sorry about the bad photo I forgot to take a picture of it right away and ended up taking it with my phone....UGH!  But it turned out so cute.  I added a blue and gold bow because that is my kids school colors.

If you become a follower and a follower of the rest of the ladies on this hop and show them some love in the comments section I am going to give a winner a gift card to SVG Cuts!
Hope you had fun hopping with us.

Thanks so much for spending time with me,
Theresa
