DT Layout with Theme Blue and Green

Well I don't know what happened exactly but my post for last weeks DT theme for Creations Etc. never posted.....thank you blogger.  I still wanted to share it with you all though even though I will be posting about our new theme tomorrow.

We were asked to make a LO using the colors Blue and Green.  I knew exactly what I wanted to do as soon as I saw this.  I have had this background paper forever and finally decided to use it.
My boys looooove catching frogs every year.   So I finally made myself make them a LO to put those silly pics in.  The frog on the left and the cattails and sign are from Treasure Box Designs.
I also used a cute pattern from Designs on Cloud 9, but I made a jar cut and placed it on top to make it look like he was caught hehehe.
Then I added a quilled frog and fly.  I think it turned out so cute.  Hope you like it.  If you haven't snooped by Creations Etc and became a member yet, you really should, it is so full of GREAT inspiration and amazing women.
I will post my new DT project tomorrow, thanks for spending time with me,
Theresa

If you came here from Charity's Blog then you are moving in the right direction.  If you just happened to snoop on by Please head back to Cori's Blog and start the hop from the beginning it is so worth the time!

My project for the hop today is a wreath.  I purchased the wreath at JoAnns for a few dollars. I wanted to use a branch wreath because spring here in Michigan anyway, is when everything goes brown and gloomy to full of color.
I cut the flowers with a pattern from SVG Cuts.

The butterfly I got a Michael's in the dollar bin.  I thought it was so cut for this wreath to add a little color and the brightness of spring to the wreath.

I do have some blog candy for you all.  I want to give the winner a gift certificate to SVG Cuts so you can buy the kit that I got these amazing flower from.
So please leave a comment and I will pick a winner with my friend Random on the sidebar there and post on Friday.  Thanks again for stopping by, I hope you come back and see some more projects later.  The next stop on your journey is Ava's Blog.  Have fun and don't forget to do all the requirements for the grand prize.
