So today I wanted to share a crayon wreath I made for my sons teacher.  I am sure you may have seen them around but I just think they are wonderful back to school gifts, especially if your children are younger.

So I started with all my supplies:
You only need 2 boxes of the 24 pack crayons.  I found mine at Target with the back to school stuff for .25 so the price is AWESOME!!!  Allot of people use different things for their wreath base but I like to use the thicker poster board.

You can get it at the dollar store and its easy to cut with your exacto knife ( not sure if I spelled that right )  But if you make a 12 in circle and then inside that one cut out an 8 inch circle for the center you will have the perfect size wreath for 2 boxes of crayons.

Here is what it looks like after I hot glued all my crayons on the board.  I like to keep the crayola up, I just think it looks cuter, but there is no wrong way.
Then just embellish it however you choose.  I used different paper piecing from SVG Cuts and the collection is called School Days

And here is my finish project
Sorry about the bad photo I forgot to take a picture of it right away and ended up taking it with my phone....UGH!  But it turned out so cute.  I added a blue and gold bow because that is my kids school colors.

If you become a follower and a follower of the rest of the ladies on this hop and show them some love in the comments section I am going to give a winner a gift card to SVG Cuts!
Hope you had fun hopping with us.

Thanks so much for spending time with me,
Theresa

Happy 30th Birthday Angela!!!!

Welcome to “Angela’s 30th Birthday” Hop! So glad you can join us!
11 super crafty girls would like to share with you their birthday creations. Hopefully this will give you all some inspiration to make something for that upcoming birthday!

If you are coming from Lisa W.'s,
then you are in the right spot. If you just happened to stumble upon my site, please start at Angela’s so you don’t miss anyone’s amazing projects!

For my project today I made a centerpiece.
For the 30 I used 3D Numbers Party SVG Kit from SVG Cuts. (not going to lie, these were HARD to make but so worth it in the end.  I think the curvier your number the harder it will be and of course I do the 3 and 0 lol )

For the cupcake I used another one of SVG Cuts files called Happy Birthday to You SVG Kit
I didn't put the flower on top I wanted to add a cherry instead ;)

The cute box opens up too so you can put little goodies into it, so I had to finally try the little sayings on the bottom of the Hersey kisses.

I have been wanting to try the little saying on the bottom for a while and never did but after our very own Birthday
Girl Angela showed me them and I saw all of Jaded Blossoms adorable candy sayings I HAD to buy them and use them!
For my project I used Birthday Candies
I really hope you liked my project!

So now onto some blog candy!!!!!
In honor of Angela turning 30 I have.....
a $15 gift card to JoAnns AND Michaels!!
So I will pick 2 winners from the hop today!!!  Make sure you become a follower and leave a comment for me!
