Here is the awesome line-up!

Yes my friends I am last in the amazing line up so I don't want to disappoint :) I decided to share with you today a little witch hat I made for my daughter who is loving the feather trend that is out and about right now. I have seen many embellished hats and headbands out on the Internet lately and they can be so pricey so I decided to give it a try and make my own. I bought a little hat from Joann's. Right now they have them in the area up front of the store with all the holiday goodies they put out, I got 6 of them for like 4.99 or something like that. I made the flowers from little bits of satin ( they are so easy to make if you don't know how and want directions just let me know I will hook you up lol ) I added some ribbons and a little black feather puff and TA-DA a cute little Halloween witch hat. Here are the pics if you want any how to info let me know, its so fun and easy to make.

So I so hope you enjoyed hopping with us all today.  I am so glad you stopped by.  For my little blog candy I am going to make a candy corn witch hat just like this for a lucky winner, or if you want to try it yourself I am also going to put in some instructions for you so you can make more if you want :) All you have to do is be a follower and leave a comment I will pic a winner on Sunday.  Thanks so much and HAPPY FALL!

Welcome To Keira’s Double-Digit Birthday Crafting Bash!

Oh, the dilemma of it all, what to get a talented gal such as Keira who is going to be 10 for her birthday!!!!! I know what, let's have a blog hop for her .....

Keira has sooo many talents and likes such as:
she will be going in the 5th grade, loves dogs and cats, loves to garden, is a competitive gymnast, but more importantly, she is the best crafting partner Lisa Woodward could have!  At 9, she can use a cricut independently, and with SCAL and CCR. She likes to paper piece and scrapbook and loves making cards for everyone~and everything!!!!  Hallmark may not have a card for “Sorry my Golden Retriever ate your shoe at my sleepover” but Keira sure does!  Keira crafts along side Lisa, working on her own projects, and with helping Lisa with hers.  Now, bear in mind that Keira is not a "kid" crafter so to speak but her skills go way beyond pipe cleaners and pom poms!

We have a talented group of crafters to help Keira celebrate her birthday and know she will be hopping along as part of her "surprise" .....

Our complete line-up is:
Day 1
Day 2

If you're just visiting me today, I'm thrilled but wouldn't want you to miss a single birthday wish to this special 10 year old!!!! The hop begins with Lisa.
If you have arrived from Erica then you are most definitely following the cake crumbs and the birthday banners and streamers!!!

So here is the card I made for Keira

My daughter just turned 10 as well and she insisted on us making a Hello Kitty Card.

I am not much of a card maker so for all you AMAZING card makers out there ( and if you have done both days of this hop, you have seen who some of those amazing cards) I have to say me and my daughter sooooo tried :) I am so GRATEFUL that Lisa let us hop along with all of you for such an amazing and special day. So from me and my daughter, and the rest of my family
Happy Birthday Keira!

Time to cut the cake…..WAIT….this is a blog hop party, there’s no cake….there’s CANDY! We have some awesome sponsors for this blog hop who are offering some great prizes!

If you remember, Lisa became a first-time grandma this year and Becky is the mother of Maxwell .... Let's Celebrate!!!!! Bring on the cake!!! Watch out for the candles!!!! Let's have some balloons and not forget the confetti!!!!

You ask for prizes, well, you're just in lucky as Lisa is also the proud owner of Scrapping with Lisa's Designs and is offering $25 in FREE files!!! Woo hoo!!!! My project for you today is a mini CD swap I took place in. I will share with you my CD I made for the swap then show you everyone elses. The theme was Happy Birthday and it had to be for a boy or a girl. I had never done an altered CD page before so this was a learning experience, to say the least. Here is what I came up with.

Here is side 1

I put pop dots under the balloons so they would stand up a little.

Here is side 2

I made this page so that the top of the gift will pull out and you can add photos or jounaling.

Well here is a quick look at all the other CD's that were in my swap group.

Scrapping with Lisa's Designs DT blog hop

Welcome to the Team Queen bi-weekly blog hop for Scrapping With Lisa’s Designs.

Team Queen of my Craftroom is working on the same bird files as Team Princess used last week. We really wanted to show the versatility of the wonderful files that Lisa creates.

This week the team was provided the files and asked to use as many of them in their project as possible. We wanted to see one cohesive project. I think you will be pleased with the work the team has done, and I hope you will take the time to fly to my Sister Design Team Members blogs and see what they have created with this file. I am sure you will be pleased.

One nice thing about Paper Piecing is the ability to cut the files out with a machine, or you can cut them out by hand if you do not have the capabilities of using your machine. Lisa provides digital images of each pattern as well. This means that you can print and color as you desire.

Today I am sharing a project me and my daughter worked on together.  Every year at our cabin on the lake we have little birdies make their nests behind out front porch light.  Alayna wanted to make a birdhouse for them to live in. Here is what we created.

Here are some close up photos of the birds.
The cow is just so cute, I loved making him!

The Robin I taped the back to a piece of wire and then the other end of the wire was secured on the underside of the birdhouse roof.

I hope you like our project, it was so much fun having a little helper this week :)  I am posting this on Mother's Day so I hope all the mothers out there had a beautiful day with your babies, no matter what the age.  We went up to our cabin and today guess who hatched, and in perfect time for this posting....
The little Robins hatched, and on Mother's Day no less.  Happy Mommy's day to mama Robin too :)

Our blog hop starts here, http://scrappingwithlisadesignsdt.blogspot.com/ , so please start from the beginning and spread your wings to fly from one blog to the next and check out the wonderful Projects.

The bird file can be found by following this link to Lisa’s Store (http://www.scrappingwithlisadesigns.com/item_17/Birds.htm)
